Allow us to introduce ourselves: We are Lilia and Bruno, musicians & music teachers in Wetumpka, Alabama. We teach guitar, piano, voice, and drums in-person and online.
We started the program in Los Angeles, California in 2017 and moved to sweet home Alabama in 2020. In addition to running Suncho School of Music, we are seasoned performing and recording artists. Some of our Los Angeles area students have pursued music professionally, getting signed with companies such as Zenobia Records and Way 2 Much Entertainment Group. We have also helped many musician-actors from Nickelodeon, Disney, and SAG-AFTRA. Here in Alabama, we have already had a wonderful time meeting students ages 6 to 65 and helping them get started in music. We are excited to bring our experience and expertise to Alabama the Beautiful!
Lilia: Guitar, Piano, and Voice Teacher
Lilia is a well-rounded musician who teaches guitar, piano, and singing. This graduate of California Institute of the Arts is highly knowledgeable about musical theory and composition and enjoys learning as much as possible about music. She loves to explore every style of music, from the most famous classical works, to the popular songs from rock, pop, jazz, and even world music from different cultures. In particular, her favorite styles to play are rock and country. Lilia is also certified in mind-body emotional healing by the Aura Institute. Therefore, she specializes in helping adults and children harness the power of music to improve mental health and teaches our Harmony Healing Music Therapy program. Lilia has performed all her life and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience!
Bruno: Drum, Guitar, and Piano Teacher
Bruno has an impressive mix of education and professional experience, with a degree in Music and Business Administration from Coimbra University. He has been playing drums and guitar for 15 years. A diverse musician, he plays many styles of music, but his favorites are rock, reggae, and country. He teaches both guitar and drums to all ages and levels. In addition to drums, he also teaches beginner piano. As far as experience, he has toured and recorded with many different groups in Europe and the United States. Furthermore, as a seasoned songwriter, Bruno loves to teach his students how to be creative and write music of their own. Bruno is the primary teacher of our Artist Development program for aspiring professional musicians.
